Much like the one dimensional length and the two dimensional area, the three dimensional measurement of volume remains constant when using Newtonian physics. That doesn’t stop it from having an extreme amount of different units. It is interesting to note that 1 centimeter is equivalent to 10 millimeters but 1 cubic centimeter is equivalent to 1,000 (or 10^3) cubic millimeters! If you’re prone to making those types of conversion errors, we recommend using this calculator to at least verify.
