Radians seem like such a strange way to measure angle until you learn how useful they are in polar coordinates, dealing with cosine and sine, and finding the phase shifts of circuits. However, radians and degrees are just different ways to say the same things, so if you need to switch from one to the other, use this tool! And if you’re curious what a “gradian” is - it’s an interesting variation but rather uncommon. We recommend googling that if you’d like to get into the weeds on something that you’ll probably never use.
